The band is also doing one-off tour dates throught the northeast in Harrisburg, NYC, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and more. • Dec 2007 - Opened for Vagrant Records THE LEMONHEADS at The Chameleon Club in Lancaster, PA! • Appeared on the cover of central Pennsylvania's music/nitelife publication FLY Magazine. • Showcased at DBMC 2007!!! • Labor Day Weekend 2007: September 2nd, 2007, THE APRIL SKIES will headline the Hersheypark Amphitheatre! • Full-length video for Track #1 off of HOW IT ALL PLAYED OUT "X" to premiere August 2007! • HOW IT ALL PLAYED OUT generates press/reviews in Billboard, PopMatters.com (4/5), AllMusicGuide.com (8/10). Harrisburg, PA’s own FLY Magazine gives it 4/5 stars! • May 2007 - THE APRIL SKIES open for Vagrant Records THE HOLD STEADY in Harrisburg, PA on the opening night of THE BOYS AND GIRLS IN AMERICA 2007 SUMMER TOUR! • The band has spent 2007 playing regular dates throughout the Northeast US (Harrisburg, Lancaster, Philly, DC, NYC, Boston and Dewey Beach, DE)! • Headlined the 2006-2007 Hershey New Years Eve Downtown Celebration in front of more than 8 thousand people. This event was also covered by Local and National TV (CNN)! • New CD HOW IT ALL PLAYED OUT released October 2006! • First single "X" appeared in the December 2006 CMJ New Music Monthly Magazine Sampler and on CMJ’s Download This! Website. • October 2006 - Tinderboxmusic.com launched a college radio campaign to 400 stations in the US and Canada that has resulted in over 250 adds! • Completed a March 2006 East coast tour w/DC band Lejeune (NYC, Baltimore, Philadelphia & more…). • Launched a targeted Northeast US college radio campaign in October 2005 to over 100 college radio stations that resulted in a 66% add rate and landed Flood in numerous stations CMJ Top 30 Lists - including multiple Top 10 spots! • Flood’s 1st single (Track #3 "You Are the One") was released nationally to AAA radio March 2005 via "A Taste of Triple A". • Flood’s 2nd single (Track #2 "Crutch") released nationally to AAA Radio on June 17, 2005 via "A Taste of Triple A". • Released Full-length CD Flood was Nationally on June 14, 2005 through WiAB Records (WiAB Records is distributed by Burnside Distribution Corporation in Portland, OR) and made available for sale in stores everywhere across the U.S. • Launched a national press campaign to promote Flood that resulted in reviews in publications like Amplifier and Ear Candy and online music websites like Delusions of Adequacy. • Released "The Breathe EP" – December 2003.
