Biography
With three solo albums to his credit, The San Francisco Examiner says Austin’s, “stunning choir boy vocals makes him a winning package.” He has toured extensively throughout the U.S., Europe, and Japan performing with such greats as Ray Charles, James Brown, The Neville Brothers, The Temptations, The Gap Band, The Pointer Sisters, LL Cool J, Chicago, Stills & Nash, Starship, and Run DMC.Willacy’s first CD “AKW” a 5-song EP that immediately went into rotation on college radio was recorded and released by APG Records, and another original hit he made was American Pi a debut solo LP. Willacy has been a featured voice on the PS2/X-Box video games, “Guitar Hero” and “Karaoke Revolution, Volume 4,” mimicking such artists as Stevie Wonder, Lenny Kravitz, Sum 41, Anthony Kieidis (Red Hot Chili Peppers) and Jay-Z just to name a few.

Willacy has performed regularly in the Bay Area and toured in Southern California, the Midwest and New England. His track, "Them," has received extensive airplay on college and select AAA radio stations nationwide. His album “Page 7” features local luminaries Jon Evans (bass player, Tori Amos) and drummer Andrew Borger. Austin appeared on, “How to Behave,” Comcast’s show about how to do-it-yourself, the right way and  was also featured in Play Guitar Magazine.  “9 Impossible Proofs,” Austin's newest album, was just released April 4th,2007!  Austin has recently been selected by theowlmag.com to be included in their inaugural compilation of “The Best of the Bay Area Unsigned Bands vol 1”.
