Artist Information Biography Based out of the East Bay area, California, Zen Vendetta has truly blended modern rock with classic rock to create the sound of the future. Not afraid to break the rules, Scott Eckardt brings back the sharp vocals of the past with his own bite of modern intensity. Zen Vendetta is a blend of veteran and talented musicians, who do what they love to do.They may be a relatively new band, originally formed in late 2005 with the final roster completed in Feb, of 2008, Zen Vendetta have not hesitated in performance or writing. Appearances have been made in many well known venues, including, the Chronicle Pavilion, Concord, ca with Journey/Def Leppard, the catalyst in Santa Cruz, ca in Support of Chris Cornell's 2009 "Scream" release and tour, as well as being the solo support for the Legendary rock group "UFO" Oct, 2008, for the Northern, ca, leg of their tour. They have played the Viper room the Whiskey a Go Go and the Cat Club in Hollywood, ca and Co-Headlined with L.A. favorites SugarCult, at the Hayes Mansion, in Santa Clara, ca. Recently, ZV were the Grand prize Winners in the "Make A Star" Original Music competition, which aired, March the 14th, 2009 on the "Fuse" channel and the band performed their winning song "I'm Alive" Zen Vendetta's song "Evergreen" from their long awaited 2009 release "Out On The West Coast" was in consideration for a nomination at the 2009, 52nd annual Grammy Awards celebration.They were also supported by Orianthi, who is an up and coming guitarist/Singer, who was rehearsing with Michael Jackson, for his comeback tour.Orianthi voted for Zen Vendetta in the Make A Star contest each and every round of the competition and the band was honored.This band has an exciting new sound, with an uplifting lyric, a band that lights up the stage each and every time!
