Biography Andrew Goldring plays Americana, roots rock and folk with Ryan Adams influenced songwriting and Stevie Ray Vaughan inspired guitar chops. He started performing at age 11, sitting in at blues jams and wowing judges at guitar contests. Now, at 17, Andrew has 5 years of shows under his belt and an emerging songwriting voice. He's played for audiences in the thousands, opened for blues legend Johnny Winter, roots rockers, The Subdudes and soul diva Bettye LaVette and shared the stage with American Idol runner-up David Archuleta. With influences as wide ranging as Neil Young, Dinosaur Jr., Sigur Ros and Django Reinhardt, Andrew's songs incorporate blues, folk, jazz, country and straight up rock, occasionally even giving a nod to metal.
