Biography
Travis James Humphrey plays good-time music, and he began doing so at an early age in rural northern Maine. He honed his craft first as an apprentice, then as the frontman for his father's various bar bands, and eventually worked his way into the position of lead singer/guitarist for the US Air Force Band, Silver Wings.
After eight years in the Air Force Band, Trav returned to his home state of Maine and joined up with bassist Tom Ambrose and drummer Rob Duquette. With the rest of the band or solo, Travis boasts award-winning guitar picking, but his vocals are the featured component. His mellow voice has been compared to liquid sex, and as a result, he has opened shows for legends such as Ricky Skaggs and alongside Murali Coryell, for B.B. King.
Tom, the bassist and manager, is a highly accomplished musician and instructor with roots in improvisational and standard jazz. He doesn't limit himself, though; Tom plays everything from BeBop to Blues, Country to Calypso, Rock'n'Roll to Reggae and he does it all with same level excellence and intensity that he brings to handling all business aspects of the band.
Rob is a master percussionist and drummer who has worked all over the U.S. bringing happy rhythms and smooth vocals wherever he goes.
The band is inspired by musical legends that include Johnny Cash, Bob Marley, Dick Curless, Jimmy Buffett, The Beatles, Jimmy Cliff, Waylon Jennings, Ray Charles, B.B. King, Otis Redding, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jerry Jeff Walker, Willie Nelson, John Prine, Israel Kamakawiwo ole' (Iz), and Henry Kapono.

We are northern New England's premier good-time band, and we are easily adaptable to any size stage and venue. We are equally comfortable decked out in suits and boots for a wedding as we are in shorts and flip flops at a BBQ. Flexible, our goal is 100 percent customer satisfaction.
