Biography
Fatback Circus creates music that follows no set path or genre and is best experienced up close and in person.  A remarkably energetic and truly talented four- piece, these young lads must be seen to be believed! The group's sound can be described as an eclectic mix of folk, metal, jazz, country, blues and all other kinds of rock n roll.  As a result of their style and originality, Fatback Circus has been recognized as Texas songwriter of the year in 2008 by Payne County Line Promotions and has also had their video for the single 'Jessica' featured as "Video of the Week" by SonicBids. The band has also opended for the bands Fastball and The Presidents of the United States of America.

Fatback Circus has a long history of performing together, each member having been born, raised, and musically baptized in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The group boasts twin brothers, Nathan and Aaron Campbell on lead vocals and lead guitar respectively, as well as rhythm section Garrett Ross and Dalton Chamblee. All four members grew up and harvested their musical talents with one another. In 2002 the four moved to San Antonio where they quickly established themselves in the live music scene, headlining shows and opening for bands such as The Burden Brothers and Thin Lizzy. As per the constant evolution of their sound, Fatback Circus, over the past several years, has experimented similarly with the structure of the band itself. Initially a five piece with a different lead singer, Nathan and Aaron shared the title of "lead guitarist." The group then added two horn players and became a seven piece. Following the departure of the original lead singer, Nathan stepped in to fill the position. The group shedded its horn players and finally took on their permanent and undoubtedly ideal indentity as a band of four. Fatback Circus now resides in Austin, TX, where they continue to write, record, and perform songs that entertain their fans as well as themselves.

Under their belt, Fatback Circus has two full-length albums. "Radio Arcadia" released in 2004 and "The Elephant King" released in 2006. The band has released a Video for 'Jessica' and 'World Color' both from "The Elephant King". They have recently released a handful of new singles online and are in the process of recording a double album.

Additionally, Fatback Circus has received "Indie track of the day" from www.garagebands.com for their single Jessica, and the band has been featured on various online podcasts such as the Celtic Folk Podcast, The Unsigned Rock Zone, The Fevered Brain Radio Station, and Hijack the Mic.
