Biography
Tony Denikos, has been writing, recording and performing some of the most refreshingly “down home” and “radio friendly” music, since the likes of the legendary groups “The Band” and “Creedence Clearwater Revival”. Tony uses eclectic, back beat rhythms to propel irresistibly contagious melodies and lyrical wit, ensnaring anyone with a love of great, great songwriting!
With the band, Tony’s brand of Americana music is lively and fun!
As an acoustic act (solo or duo) he delivers an engaging performance, showcasing his unique style of Americana in a personal and heartfelt way.
Tony has just completed his third recording “Already Gone” in 2009!! A compilation of 11 masterfully crafted and distinctive tunes, these songs explore the entire spectrum of americana music. Stylistically, the album reflects influences from John Prine, Lowel George, Bruce Springsteen, John Fogerty and Steve Earle, revealing Tony’s earthy and unique musical voice throughout.
