Biography
THE GUY WHO MAKES THE GRAMMYS SAID: "I have listened to your cd's several times (you're on our 'play list' here in the shop). I must say I am more than impressed. I am not a fan of "funk" but the way you have infused it with jazz and your incredible voice and delivery I find your music very inspiring. I am always blown away how after all that has been done through years an artist can come up with something so unique and create a 'style' all their own." ~John Billings

WHO IS SHE? Why She's skinny, funky, white chocolate! As a native Clevelander, Stone has grown in her grassroots following from grabbing singer/songwriter, to an explosive full band, to record label owner, to producer. She tours the country non-stop. With her first full release(following her self titled EP in 1998), "My Heart" (2001), she made her mark, her next release, "RushMore" (2003), has been catching the media and her fifth album "Bad Girl" (which is a high energy R&B, Neo-Soul, all Groove record) is OUT as of June 21st 2009!!!, Don't forget about "Live at the Oakland", her newer live solo bootleg, good luck getting it. She is also released a DVD of the Cain Park performance, is working on a solo CD, a LIVE full band CD and perhaps another project towards the end of the year... Busy, busy, busy... Stone’s campaign has made waves across over 1,000 national and international radio stations, charting along the way. CD's are available in stores and on-line now at www.SheLovesYouRecords.com!

THE NATIONAL RELEASE DATE FOR "BAD GIRL" is 9/9/09.

WHO IS HER BAND?  The Robin Stone Band consists of Original P Funk and former Faith Evans bassist, Derrick Davis, former "original Mili Vanili" lead guitarist, Erique Troi, former drummer for Kirk Franklin, The Clarke Sister's and more, Darrel Williams, keyboardist Tristan Miller and we add in percussion and other things as we love to spice it up.

Music's Bottom Line said "[Stone's] voice and guitar playing were flawless, and her stage presence conjured up images of female rockers like Sheryl Crow and Tara McLean."

WHAT IS SHE DOING? The big news is that in the last 2 years, she just put her new band together of world class players and is stepping up the level of intensity yet again. Currently she is recording material for the sixth album "TBA" and will release it probably at the end of 2009/2010. "BAD GIRL" is out NOW!  The She Loves You Records partnered with Little Fish Records staff is working on broadening the touring market and keeping the calendar full for 2009. The national campaign for Bad Girl will be run by Fly on the Wall Media.  We are excited about that!
We held new radio campaign for the title track from RushMore entitled “No Fool” back in 2004. It spun well over 1,300 national and international radio stations. Her Publicist launched a media blitz that has been very successful in getting the new record covered as well as full coverage in each tour stop and that will continue for the new album. Stone’s Distributor Little Fish Records, (www.littlefish.com) is handling the international promotion of the new record, expanding the stores that carry Stone’s records and heading up a new program to solicit the licensing of Stone’s music for Recording, Film and Television. Robin Stone herself has added another artist to her record label, Alexis Antes and also produced her new album, "All Come Down". Stone is also working with her Web Master to redesign the site for the new release, interesting and interactive, in fact a new site may be posted soon. Everyone is busy in SLY town.

PEACE AND MANY THANKS FOR YOUR LOVE AND SUPPORT. ~Stoney
