Biography
The distinct, powerful, hard-hitting sound of THE FEED comes from two very talented musicians and is the product of the collaboration of veterans of the local and national music scene. Led by front-man Dave Grelle (keyboards, vocals) and Kevin Bowers (drums, vocals), their music is best described as “blues-infused rock”.
The energy, variety and fullness of their sound makes it hard to believe that it comes from a threesome. Equally distinctive and unforgettable, THE FEED is without a guitar. Instead, the powerful, soulful sounds emanate from the overdriven, signature Fender Rhodes keyboard and vibrant drums, producing a sound harder and smarter than many other guitar-dependent bands. The St. Louis band's edgy, but intelligent, lyrics find a way of coming back into your head again and again.
THE FEED's live performances are “must see” and have venues pulsating across the country.
Their music is engaging, feel-good rock‘n roll. THE FEED was named 2008 “Best Rock Band” by the Riverfront Times.
