Biography
Rick Street is the stage name of Rick Tallarigo, a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. Rick was trained in classical piano, organ, and chorale. In high school, he joined his first rock and roll top 40 band, playing and touring regionally. While attending the University of Cincinnati, Rick wrote and performed music for several theatre productions: Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream", Brecht's "The Caucasian Chalk Circle", and Carmichael's "Another Day." He has also written several pieces for Brad Lang's "Three Hundred." Rick has recently performed the singing/acting role of "Ken" in Vincent Kee's "Sonny's Place: The Greatest Jam Session that Never Happened." Rick has also acted in Phat Cat Films productions of "Harmonica Man", "Wildwood Boot Camp.", and "Where Have All the Italian Cowboys Gone?" Currently performing as Groucho Marx in "Holidays with the Legends." Rick and his artist wife, Teina, live in Cincinnati.
Instrumentation
Rick typically performs solo. Rick plays acoustic-electric guitar, keyboard, and sings. Backing CD tracks are recorded using a Boss-Roland 11 track hard disk system and a Roland RS-5 synth.
