Artist Information Biography Sheesham and Lotus met high in the Appalachian Mountains. As musicians playing for old-time dances and gatherings, they kept running in to each other in all the states of the union. Much to the joy of the people, they finally decided to band together as a duo and spread the joy of old-time music and dance. The music is Old-time Rag-time High Steppin' Mountain music. Sheesham and Lotus perform for many different types of event. Concerts, Workshops, Classroom performances, Square and Contra dances, Private and Corporate parties and functions, and Wakes. Please see 'set lists' for more info. We give workshops in all instruments we play, plus hand pat percussion and Flat foot clogging.
