Artist Information

Biography
Lojo's band history reflects her style of music - a little bit of everything. She's played bass in a psychedelic jam band, mandolin in a Celtic group and guitar in every kind of funk, folk, jazz, and jam combination you can imagine. Through it all she combines her sense of music with her sense of humor - sometimes outrageous, sometimes intense, always original.

Instrumentation
1 girl. 1 guitar. 1 helluva good time.

Discography
Russo's latest CD, little white box, explodes with colorful surprises – much like the artist herself. What does one find inside a little white box?
There’s notes from a friend whom you’ve forgotten. A place to kick back. Here’s a postcard from that trip to the beach. A lucky penny. There’s even a second chance.

Stoic Abandon is my 7th indie release. This project dares us to take a chance, to think outside the music box and believe that these words, stoic and abandon, are not opposites but merely a reflection of themselves, of life.
Using "powerful vocals", "rich guitar" and "enticing lyrics" she captures ordinary experiences and makes them extraordinary.
It's the balance; soft/loud, rock/folk, stoic/abandon that makes this album daring.

Previous releases include 4 cd's with her band, Funks Grove, 3 solo cds, one live theater production, song credit for an ACS video and numerous guest appearances.
