ANGELA SIRACUSA, apart from being an award-winning Nashville recording artist and an entertainer with an edge, Angela creates recipes and can cook like a hometown sweetheart. Whizbang Films of Canada known for its recent releases of the blockbuster films Passchendaele and Men with Brooms is developing Angela’s own cooking show: “Angela Feeds the Band”. The show will highlight Angela cooking, conversing and jamming with great music stars. Each show will be in a different location with Angela and crew motoring crisscross throughout North America to find the next band in need of the comforts of home, food and affection. You have to see to believe the energy, the fearless conversations sparked by this vibrant over-the-top entertainer. Angela is as expressive, creative and adventurous with her recipes as she is in her songwriting.

In 2008 Angela was nominated for, The Ontario Independent Music Award and has won The 2008 Niagara Music Award for Best Country Group. Consistently she has been on the top of the Canadian My Space Country, Americana, and Southern Rock Charts, and has been asked to appear on three-time Grammy winner Walter Ostaneks’ upcoming roots compilation album. At a recent Pre-Grammy party in Nashville, Angela spent time with the country music’s elite from Brenda Lee, Little Big Town, and Trace Atkins to five-time Grammy Award winner (including 2009) and one of Angela’s idols, Robert Plant. Angela is also a featured music columnist for the well respected French magazine Dreamwest, and Angela has been back in the studio putting the finishing touches on a new Americana EP to be released late Fall of 2009; Angela has written and collaborated on every song. Produced by Nick Lesyk, it blends many of the same elements that made her album Drawn to the Flame so successful. Like one of Angela’s favorite, respected artists, Reba McEntire, Angela says, “I want it all: I simply want to entertain people and share my talents with those that will have them. I simply love people, love singing and performing: it’s how I was raised and I’m sticking to it.”

Angela’s manager, Ken Kahler says, “Angela is the real deal from every corner of the talent spectrum. She can sing a variety of genres including jazz & Americana music. Her voice is warm, sexy & sultry. Her version of, Route 66 has the potential of a Grammy nomination."

Angela has been featured on shows with, Sammy Kershaw, Hal Ketchum & recently Raul Malo from the Mavericks and The Road Hammers. Angela is a regular guest on the famed Billy Block Show in Nashville.
