Biography The Sonic Cheetahs of Death are a rock and roll band from the Washington, DC area. They represent the continuing collaborative climax of five distinct musical personalities, each offering differing rock influences to their collaborative songwriting. Their foot stomping, hum-along, soulful, folk-inspired indie rock gems still allow for booming rallying cries, but also highlight the expressive intricacies lingering just below the surface. The Sonic Cheetahs released The Dearly Departed, their first full-length LP in late 2007. The record is now available through their website/myspace page, and also through various internet retailers. The band continues to perform in support of the new record. Latest News: Dec. 2006: The Sonic Cheetahs of Death advanced to the Quarterfinals of the WHFS "Road to the HFStival" contest.
