Meet Sister Says. Meet Gillian and Robert Thomson. With Gillian narrating with lyric and voice to Robert’s whirl wind of arrangements they create a sound that is completely unique. Never before have you felt this: music to live to, a conflict of emotions, an unaddressed letter.
Their alternative soul project consists of a fine cast of musicians ranging from Vancouver to Toronto. Their much awaited debut album is to be released sometime this summer. The music on this album is like an evolution of characters. It is a bittersweet soundtrack to love found, love lost and the epiphanies you manifest along the way.
They can be found playing shows in their home city of Vancouver or their recording haven Q-music in Toronto. The band also enjoyed a mini tour in 2008 in Beijing, kicking of the 2008 Beijing Olympics and playing at the BC Pavilion.
