Artist Information Biography The Bouchards hail from Seattle, WA and have been compared to a wide range of artists including Wilco, Tom Petty, and John Hiatt. The Bouchards bring tight vocal harmonies, driving guitars, and an atmospheric blend of pedal steel and keyboards to intimate tales of love, loss and renewal. The Bouchards formed in 2006 when Dennis Tevlin and Bill Preib, two singer-songwriters from Seattle, teamed up with ex Rank and File drummer Bob Kahr and former Tracy Chapman bassist Andy Stoller. With this quartet in place, the band began recording the basic tracks for what would become their debut CD "High Water Line". Other notable Northwest musicians featured on these recordings include Dan Tyack on pedal steel, Orville Johnson on Dobro and lap steel, and Frank Holman on piano and the Hammond B-3. The band's current stage lineup features Dennis Tevlin on acoustic guitar and vocals, Bill Preib on electric guitar and vocals, Bob Kahr on drums and vocals, Geoff Duncan on electric bass guitar, and Dave Harmonson on pedal and lap steel guitar.
