The Pat Smillie Band plays rootsy r&b/blues-inflected original music. The group has been together for over 8 years and has opened shows for artists such as the Robert Cray Band, Koko Taylor, and Bobby Rush.  For festivals and/or recording sessions the band is often augmented by 2 female vocalists.
