Alash, from the tiny Republic of Tuva in Siberia, are award-winning masters of Tuvan music and throat-singing. In throat-singing, one singer produces multiple pitches simultaneously. Alash keeps the ancient traditions alive and also collaborates with current musicians like the Flecktones and Sun Ra.
