Southern Soul Revue!  Start with the style of Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett and Sammy Davis jr. a pocket rhythm section with exceptionally tight horns and you have a vague idea of what you get at a JC's performance.  Your best bet, however, is to check them out live for yourself.
