Winner of the 2007 Abe Olman Scholarship for excellence in songwriting selected by, ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, SGA, SHOF.  Also a semi-finalist in the 2006 International Songwriting Competition in the JAZZ category and has advanced to the second round judging in AAA.
