Summary
The sixth annual 30-A Songwriters Festival has been announced for the weekend of January 16-18, 2015 (MLK three day holiday weekend). Music will be produced in over twenty-four venues located on a 20 mile stretch of scenic highway 30-A on the Gulf coast. Over two hundred performances will take place on stages set up in the famous beachside resorts including WaterColor, Alys Beach, WaterSound, Santa Rosa Beach, Rosemary Beach, Grayton Beach, Seaside and Seagrove.
Lodging will be provided for the weekend of the Festival.
Artists who have performed at the 30-A Songwriters Festival include: Lucinda Williams, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Loudon Wainwright III, Robert Randolph, Ani DiFranco, Richard Thompson, Indigo Girls, Rodney Crowell, The Bangles, Kristian Bush (Sugarland), Shawn Mullins, John Oates, Jeffrey Steele, Suzanne Vega, Matthew Sweet, Joan Osborne, Randall Bramblett, Will Kimbrough, Tift Merritt, Gary Louris (Jayhawks), David Ryan Harris (John Mayer Band), David Wilcox, Fastball, Jim Lauderdale, John Driskell Hopkins (Zac Brown Band), Chely Wright, Allison Moorer, Charlie Mars, Corey Smith, Mary Gauthier, Teddy Thompson, Susan Cowsill, Bob Schneider, Eliza Gilkyson, Freedy Johnston, Steve Forbert, Sam Bush Band, Hayes Carll, Chuck Cannon, Holly Williams, David Olney, Kim Ritchey and Corey Chisel among many others.
