Don't miss your LAST CHANCE to submit to the A3C Hip Hop Festival, a 2 day-3 night event, featuring live performances from some of hip hop's elite. Murs, 9th Wonder, Elzhi, Ski Beats, Skyzoo, XV, Tabi Bonney, Jon Connor and more have just been added to the 2011 lineup. In addition to performances, A3C offers the unique opportunity to rub elbows and network with some of hip hop's biggest artists, including other confirmed 2011 acts like Freeway, Ras Kass, J-Live, Percee P, and Aleon Craft.
At least 6 Sonicbids artists will be selected. One artist will receive a $300 travel stipend and all acts that submit will receive a free 3-day festival pass ($45)./n/nJUST ANNOUNCED: Jean Grae, Big K.R.I.T., Saigon, Rapper Big Pooh, Smoke DZA, Homeboy Sandman, REKS, Termanology, Action Bronson, Nottz, Diamond D, Bronze Nazareth and more have been added to the A3C lineup.
Now heading into its 7th year, the A3C Hip Hop Festival is a 2 day, 3 night event held annually in Atlanta, at the Masquerade, featuring live performances from some of Hip Hop's elite and brightest up-and-coming artists. Through the support of fans, the A3C has grown into the largest Hip Hop Festival in the Southeast US, drawing 12,000+ people in 2010.
At least 6 Sonicbids artists will be selected to perform at A3C in 2011. One selected Sonicbids artist will receive a $300 travel stipend and each act that is not selected will receive a free 3-day festival pass ($45). The event will feature 200+ artists; in its history, A3C has selected over 60 Sonicbids artists perform (including 23 in 2010). A3C strives to put at least one Sonicbids artist on as many stages as possible throughout the weekend. Confirmed performers for 2011 include Murs, 9th Wonder, Elzhi, Ski Beats, Skyzoo, XV, Tabi Bonney, Random Axe (Sean Price, Guilty Simpson & Black Milk), Freeway, Ras Kass, J-Live, Percee P, Aleon Craft, as well as Sonicbids members Danny! and Goines. At least 4 more Sonicbids artists will be selected to perform.
In addition to live music performances the A3C also features, graphic art, fashion, film, producer showcases, pro audio demonstrations and music industry panels. The event is a central meeting point for hip hop fans as well as MCs, DJs, producers, and anyone else looking to advance their careers within the music industry. A3C provides a unique opportunity to network and rub elbows with the same major performers and panelists who attend each year.
Since 2005 the event has featured hundreds of Hip Hop's most influential and talented artists in the US, including: 9th Wonder, B.o.B, Black Sheep, Camp Lo, The Clipse, Curen$y, DJ Premier, Jean Grae, J. Cole, The Juice Crew, Killer Mike, Little Brother, Murs, Rakim, Rhymefest, Souls of Mischief, Wale, Yelawolf and many more.
