EasParkPro is booking 6 Sonicbids artists for #BigTicket Hip Hop showcases between November and January. Compensation is provided in some cases.
The Opportunity
#BigTicket is Toronto's #1 monthly Hip Hop event and averages 300 attendees. It's a celebration of the past, the present and the future. The showcase features export-ready up-and-comers who have potential for international success.
The event takes place at Wrongbar in the Queen-West neighborhood of Toronto. It is known for great DJs and a large dance floor.
Media sponsors include Hip Hop Canada / Urbanology Magazine, Maximumfm.ca, Northern Hussle and Omni Television, allowing #BigTicket to provide exceptional promotional opportunities and event coverage. In addition to a spot at the showcase, selected artists will be eligible to be featured as Urbanology's #BigTicket artist of the month.

The Band
- 19+ (all band members)
- Artists from Canada and US encouraged to submit (but must handle own travel and accommodations)
The Gig
Details:
- Showcase on 2nd Friday of every month at Wrongbar
- Backline includes 2 turntables and mixer
- House DJ can spin performance tracks if artist does not have DJ
- Professional sound and set lighting provided
- Travel/lodging is at artist's expense
- Compensation provided on case-by-case basis
- Dependent on artist's draw and experience
- Artists can keep 100% of merchandise sales
