Summary

Bonnaroo is offering two performance slots exclusively to Sonicbids artists through the Bonnaroo Battle of the Bracket, a special fan voting program. Selected artists will get to play alongside acts like Billy Joel, Kendrick Lamar and Mumford & Sons, as well as receive $1000 courtesy of Bonnaroo and Sonicbids.

Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of industry curators including Jonnie Davis Senior VP / A&R - General Manager, Label Services of Round Hill MusicAmerican Authors, Grammy Award-winning producer Prince Charles Alexander, Steve Rennie of Renman Music & Business, Steven Smith of Going Off Track and Fan Connection, Rick Barker of Music Industry Blueprint, Dave Kusek of The New Artist Model, Janelle Rogers of Green Light Go Publicity, Amy Sciarretto of Atom Splitter PR, and more.

For an additional opportunity to perform at Bonnaroo 2015 artists can also apply for a slot through the Sonicbids general consideration listing

The Opportunity

The top 64 bands will enter into a head-to-head bracket contest where fans vote for their favorite bands in each matchup from March 19 - April 2, 2015. Each round of voting will last for 3 days, after which the winner of each matchup will be notified and voting for the following round will begin the next day. The 2 bands remaining after 5 rounds of head-to-head voting will win the 2 Bonnaroo performance slots.

The Band

  • Artists of any and all genres are encouraged to submit
  • Artists located in the United States only will be considered

The Gig

Details:

  • Sound equipment (PA, mics, monitors) will be supplied
  • Sets are typically 45-60 min each
Additional Compensation Details:
  • Selected artists will each receive $1000 in compensation courtesy of Sonicbids and Bonnaroo
  • Artists will be included in a variety of high-profile event materials (including a full-page bio on the official Bonnaroo website) and press opportunities
  • Artists will be able to sell merch on-site
