Browngrass Festival 2012

Play in Rabbit Hash KY, courtesy of Sonicbids! Rabbit Hash, otherwise known as "The Center of the Universe", has been defined by both local and regional artists as "The only REAL gig I've ever played!". With an up-front audience and historical backdrop, the focus on Americana music is palpable.

This year the Browngrass Festival is reserving 8 of their 20 performance slots for Sonicbids members. There is no compensation offered for selected artists, but this is an opportunity to be exposed to a new fan base of over 1000 Americana die-hards.

Going in to it's 3rd year, fans of the Browngrass Festival have been asking, "Is there going to be another one?", "When Is it going to happen?", "Who's going to play?".

This festival was born with the intention to give back to WNKU FM radio station, a publicly funded station affiliated with Northern Kentucky University. WNKU proudly supports up and coming bands from many genres. All proceeds from the festival go directly to WNKU.

Last year's festival drew over 1000 fans of Americana Music. The festival is small, but there's a reason for that. Only a certain amount of people can fit in Rabbit Hash. Those people are real fans.

Browngrass Festival 2012 will include over 20 artists, food and beverage, raffles and more. It is an all age venue. Typical festivals in Rabbit Hash attract over 1000 visitors per day. This is an excellent opportunity to give back to the radio community that has supported local music in the Cincinnati area for years. It is also an opportunity to bring your band to Rabbit Hash KY, one of the most sought after music venues in the area.
