LICENSING: Screw the Holidays Compilation CD

Radio KSCR's Screw Pop Culture has slots for up to 15 Sonicbids artists to be featured on their first holiday compilation album, Screw the Holidays. Selected acts will receive a percentage of royalties.

Every year, our ears are assaulted by hours of bland generic holiday music and Screw Pop Culture wants to change that. Founded in 2008, Screw Pop Culture is an online radio show that debuts new music on Radio KSCR. They are creating their first ever holiday compilation album, Screw the Holidays, that will feature 15 original songs from independent artists. 

Radio KSCR is an online station based in Los Angeles dedicated to playing nothing but the best in indie and small label music. Their station has 13 programs and is live on several platforms including Radioloyalty, TuneIn, Live365 and iTunes Internet. With a mostly young, single male demographic, the station receives 200+ unique views daily from avid music lovers.

• Music with a holiday feel
  
• Must have publishing rights to songs submitted
• Original music only; no third party material or copyright infringement
• Unsigned acts only
• Open to acts in all regions
• No music that degrades women or contains explicit content will be considered

Details:

• The expected release date is Thanksgiving Day, November 17th
• The album will be digitally released via online retail outlets such as Amazon, iTunes, Google Play, Spotify, etc.
• The album will also be available in physical CD format

• Artists will receive 13% for a song that is bought as a single
• When the album is purchased as a whole, artists will split 15%
  
• 10% of physical CD sales will be donated to a music charity
• Inclusion in official KSCR promotion and social media
• Selected songs will be played on Radio KSCR for the month of December
