The Opportunity
Now celebrating its 20th year, Gathering of the Vibes is annual weekend festival that attracts more than 25,000 people. For the 11th time in its history, Vibes will be returning to Seaside Park in Bridgeport, CT in 2015 -- home of Vibes 1999-2000, 2007-2014. Nestled in scenic Bridgeport, Connecticut with 370 acres of lush lawns, shady glades and sports fields rolling toward Long Island Sound, Seaside Park is a venue without peer on the Eastern Seaboard.
2015 Performers Include:
Wilco, The String Cheese Incident, Ben Harper, Weezer, Gregg Allman, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, The Gaslight Anthem, Lettuce, Dark Star Orchestra
The Band
- Preferred genres include funk, jam, rock, roots, acoustic
- Some degree of festival experience is required
- Artists must be based within New England, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, or Pennsylvania
The Gig
Details:
- Sound equipment and basic backline will be provided
- Sets are 60 minutes each
- Selected artist will be compensated. Fee is negotiated upon booking
- Artist will receive 1 meal per day, per band + crew member at general festival hospitality. Riders will not be filled
- Artist will be featured in press and promotion done by the festival
- Artist can sell merch on site with 20% going to the house to sell
