Summary

Midem has teamed up with Grey and Olive Garden to give you the opportunity to have your music used in one of their 30 second or 15 second commercial spots. Olive Garden is an iconic American brand, serving Italian-inspired cuisine. Established in 1982, it brought Italian-inspired dining and generosity to all corners of the US.

The brand purpose is to nourish moments of togetherness. A warm and welcoming place for gathering around the table, being sociable, telling stories, sharing food and life. Olive Garden is looking for a memorable piece of music for the launch of a new campaign that is warm, vibrant, and emotional. A musical interpretation of the joy of togetherness.

Guideline for submissions:

  • Spots are :30 and :15 in length. Long form, up to 60 that can be cut down is good.
  • Spots have voiceover. Entirely instrumental is ok. Vocalization and sparse lyrics are ok, as long as they dont compete with VO.
  • Can have Italian-inspired instrumentations but not required
  • Forward looking, not inspired by the past
  • Ownable cues audio branding to open or close is a plus
All tracks submitted must fit the description above.

The top selected tracks will be announced at Midem 2014 during the Grey Sync Session on Tuesday February 4, 2014 at 3:00pm.
