Summary
Path To Laneway is a band competition where the winning band will have the opportunity to play in the Laneway Festival 2014 at Esplanade Park and West End, Fremantle. The St Jerome's Laneway Festival is Australia's best boutique street party, delivering the finest indie line up, hand-picked for their amazing live shows.
3 local WA artists will be selected to battle it out in a live final on the 4th of February at The Oddfellow (The Norfolk Basement). The competition will be judged by a panel of industry experts and the winner will get to open the Perth Laneway Festival in 2014.
The competition is open to musicians who play all genres of original music and who are unsigned Western Australian acts. All band members must be over 18 years old to enter.
St. Jeromes Laneway Festival in 2014 will see the likes of Lorde, Jamie XX, Cashmere Cat, Adalita, Daughter, Chvrches, Fourtet, Haim, Warpaint, Vance Joy and many more!
Past performers include: !!!, Alpine, Alt-J, The Antler, Beach House, Bear in Heaven, Best Coast, Blonde Redhead, Chet Faker, Cloud Control, Cut Copy, Deerhunter, Flume, Foals, Gotye, The Holidays, Holy Fuck, Jenny and Johnny, Les Savy Fav, Local Natives, Menomena, Pond, The Rubens, Stornoway, Two Door Cinema Club, Violent Soho, Warpaint, World's End Press, Yeasayer, and many more.
