Many of MidPoint's 2010 performers made year-end lists for Best Album or Best New Artist in major music publications such as SPIN, Fader, Pitchfork, NME, Filter and Rolling Stone./n/nCincinnati's MidPoint Music Festival (MPMF) comes of age in 2011 as the festival marks its 10th anniversary on September 22-24th. Expecting to exceed last year's attendance of 20,000+, the festival will be adding new venues and expanding into more all-ages and daytime programming. 75 slots are guaranteed to Sonicbids artists. Selected artists will receive a $100 stipend plus passes to the entire festival.

After 10 years of featuring more than 20 stages and 250 performances over three days each year, MidPoint has developed a reputation as the place to find the next big thing. Many of MidPoint's 2010 performers made year-end lists for Best Album or Best New Artist in major music publications such as SPIN, Fader, Pitchfork, NME, Filter and Rolling Stone.



The list of recent MPMF performers includes: Best Coast, Phantogram, Surfer Blood, Caribou, A Place To Bury Strangers, Holy F*ck, Fang Island, +/-, Colour Revolt, Cults, Justin Townes Earle, Jessica Lea Mayfield, Candy Claws, Brighton MA, Drink Up Buttercup, The Strange Boys, Felice Brothers, Javelin, Heartless Bastards, The Do, Chairlift, Micachu and the Shapes, Sarah Borges, Wussy and Buffalo Killers.



Downtown Cincinnati and its historic Over-The-Rhine neighborhood are annually transformed to present the regions biggest indoor music festival within a famously tight, walkable MPMF footprint. This allows music lovers to witness multiple performances from all over the world each night.
