The Open Air St. Gallen is one of Switzerlands largest summer music festivals. 90,000 people attend OASG over 3 days.
There are 2 reserved slots for Sonicbids artists - 1 Swiss and 1 European (non-Swiss). The Swiss artist will receive $500 USD and the non-swiss European artist will receive $2,000 USD.
Partners of the Festival include DRS 3 Swiss National Radio, MTV, St Gallen Tagblatt, and 20 Minuten. There are three stages featuring genres including rock, indie, punk, alternative, electronic, hip-hop, ska, reggae, world, folk, comedy, and many more.
The 36th Open Air St. Gallen Festival will be held in the Sittertobel in St. Gallen (eastern Switzerland) on June 28 - July 1, 2012. There are 2 reserved performance slots for Sonicbids artists - one Swiss artist and one non-Swiss European artist. Performances will take place on either the Tent Stage (capacity 4,500) or Main Stage (capacity 25,000).
All selected artists will be monetarily compensated:
- Swiss artist will receive $500 USD
- Non-Swiss European artist will receive $2,000 USD
