PLAY: Concerts in Haiti, Presented by the AUBE Center

The AUBE Center has slots for 6 Sonicbids artists to perform in multiple cities in Haiti in May, 2015. Selected artists will have assistance with travel costs.

AUBE Center is a business center located in Port au Prince, Haiti. They are recruiting up to 8 performers to present in Haiti between May 2 - 24, 2015. Their main event is an educational conference for public policy and macro social work, with a mix of arts and world culture. The center is primarily English-speaking, and they promote foreign languages and other culture as part of the learning experience. A number of local Haitian artists will perform as well. Dates and cities include May 2nd in Port au Prince; May 9 in Aquin, near Jacmel; May 16 in Cap Haitien, North Haiti.

• Must be age 18+ to perform
• Performers must be willing to help at the main conference

• May 2nd, 9th and 16th
• 15-30 minutes per set
• Sound equipment is provided
• Backline is provided

• Three selected artists will receive a travel stipend of $300.00 towards their trip expenses
• Accommodations and food are not provided; the AUBE Center will assist selected artists in their efforts to raise travel funding
• Acts may sell merch on site
