Summary
Rock Solid Entertainment is seeking up to 10 Sonicbids bands to perform at The 26th Annual Underground Atlanta Peach Drop Celebration 2015. Some artists will be compensated.
The Opportunity
Packed full of excitement, the 26th Annual Underground Atlanta Peach Drop Celebration is Atlanta’s favorite way of ringing in the New Year. This year’s event will play host to ~170,000 attendees and include three stages of entertainment. The Budding Peach Stage for performers under the age of 18, the Kenny’s Alley stage for local artists and the Peach Drop Main Stage featuring up-and-coming local acts plus the national featured talent.
The Band
- Rock, pop, country, hip-hop bands, folk preferred
- Rap and metal not accepted
- Prefer act to play a plugged-in / electric set
- No minimum age for performers
- Full bands preferred over solo and duo acts
The Gig
Details:
- Performance set from 45-60 minutes
- Some backline will be provided
- Sound and light engineer will be provided
- Sound equipment such as cables, mics/stands, PAs, monitors will be provided
- Only main stage supporting acts and side stage headliner will be compensated
- May sell merchandise on-site
- Only main stage acts will receive catering
Terms And Conditions
Sets Lengths: Typically are 45 minutes in length, longer as the night progresses with a 15 minute change over.
Backline may be provided for some acts. This would consist of a full drum kit and possible guitar amps and keyboards.
Restrictions: The Budding Peach Stage is for artists 18 years of age and younger. No lewd or vulgar conduct allowed on any stage.
Selection is based on originality, marketability, local draw and strength of bands market value, overall likeability, and willingness to help promote the event.
We are primarily seeking local and regional acts native to or have ties to the state Georgia. These acts should be prepared to help promote the event locally to their friends, family, and fans. We are looking for artists in the rock, pop, country, and R&B genres. This is a family oriented event and no artist with vulgar or lewd lyrics will be considered at all.
Depending on the artists marketability, and name value will determine the slot and stage they perform on, only certain artists will be compensated for their appearance. This event is a large exposure event that will get a lot of media coverage through print, radio and television.
