Reel Indie Film Festival (RiFF) is an independent film festival with a focus on music-related content.

Submissions Open:
RiFF is currently seeking submissions for the 2014 independent film showcase. Filmmakers are invited to submit music-related independent short films, music videos, feature films or documentaries completed between January 1, 2013 and June 30, 2014.

The Band

Complete Submissions Must Include:

  • Film Runtime
  • 75-100 word short synopsis 
  • Secure link (and password) to your film
  • Contact name, mailing address, email and phone
  • link to official website
  • Name of director(s), producer(s) and writer(s)
  • Must fulfil qualifications listed below
Submission Qualifications:
  • Films must have been completed between January 1, 2013 and June 30, 2014
  • Short Films must have a running time of no longer than 30 minutes
  • Music Videos must have a running time of no more than 5 minutes
  • Feature-length Films must have a runtime of 60 minutes or longer
  • Films in a language other than English must be subtitled in English
  • Must be related to music

Notification:
Selected filmmakers will be notified via email on or near September 1, 2014.

What We Need:

Upon selections filmmakers will be required to provide:
  • HD Cam, DCP or BluRay screener
  • High-res dvd or BluRay backup screener 
  •  Digital Press Kit (including 3 high resolution stills, director and producer head shots, filmmaker bios, full credit listings, log line and a 75 word synopsis)
