The Opportunity
The second annual Electric City Music Conference and Music Awards will return to Scranton, Pennsylvania in the fall of 2015. The event's purpose is to recognize and advance the music community of North Eastern Pennsylvania, and brings 4,000-6,000 attendees annually. The event honors local talent through the Steamtown Music Awards, provides learning opportunities through educational seminars, highlights area talent through performances, and brings national level talent to the NEPA market for music fans.
The Band
- All genres are welcome
- Original bands are preferred
- Cover acts that present cover songs in an original manner will be considered
The Gig
- 35-45 min sets dependent on venue
- Sound will be provided
- Monetary compensation will be determined on a band-to-band basis
- Bands will be featured in all associated festival press
- 1 guest list spot per band/act
