The Opportunity
Seattle PrideFest takes place on Sunday, June 29 at the Seattle Center and is the largest free Pride Festival in the U.S., boasting over 125,000 attendees in one day! PrideFest seeks diversity in its acts, whether they be queer or allied. Help make 2014 the best year yet!
Play on one of PrideFest's four stages - DJ stage, main stage, live band stage, or acoustic stage. They usually book 5-10 Sonicbids artists.
The Band
They're looking for artists of all types: DJs, singer-songwriters, soul, funk, world, rock, R&B, electronic, pop artists, Broadway singers, choirs, and much more. If you have a big talent that would appeal to a queer and queer-friendly audience, you should apply!
The Gig
Seattle PrideFest is Sunday, June 29 at the Seattle Center, but they also have a street festival on Saturday June 28 on Capitol Hill. You'll be playing on one of our 4 stages at the Seattle Center festival, or one of our 2 stages at our street festival. These attract big crowds, so you may be playing to a crowd of thousands!
Terms And Conditions
If you are from outside the Seattle area, you must be willing to pay for your own travel and provide your own lodging with no additional compensation besides the base fee for the event.
Compensation
- Compensation Amount: $75.00 - $250.00
- Percentage of Merchandise Sales: 100%
