ARYA Concerts & Events is booking 3 Sonicbids bands to play the PINKTOBER Breast Cancer Benefit Concert at the Hard Rock Cafe. Selected artists will be compensated a percentage of ticket sales.
The Opportunity
ARYA strives to help indie bands play to large crowds in quality venues, and to give music lovers the opportunity to party and dance to great music.
The 5th Annual PINKTOBER Breast Cancer Benefit Concert is a partial proceeds event co-hosted by the Hard Rock Cafe Toronto and the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation of Ontario. PINKTOBER will take place at The Hard Rock Cafe Toronto, a 170+ capacity venue complete with 2 stories and Club 279 on the second level, featuring 6 local bands, a side-stage act and DJ, and an after party. So far, the event has raised $5,000.
The Band
Required:
- Greater Toronto area acts
- Must be age 19+
- Wide variety of genres
- DJs
The Gig
Details:
- 35 minute set
- Sound and lights provided
- A set amount from every ticket sold ($8 advance/$10 door) will go towards the cause for breast cancer awareness
- Bands will receive 50% split of the remaining profit from ticket sales
- As ticket sales hit benchmark goals, the bands' percentage split will increase
Compensation
- Percentage of Door: 30%
