These are just a few reasons to get ready to rock. The Center of the Universe Festival in Tulsa, Oklahoma is accepting applications for club venue bands to play on Friday July 25th or Saturday July 26th, 2014. All of the proceeds from the $30 submission fee will be donated to the Tulsa Public Schools Music Program.

In addition to the exposure of playing at Oklahoma's largest music festival and being included on the poster and website, bands can earn up to $100 per band member or a maximum of $500 for the gig. Bands will also receive two weekend tickets to the festival per band member and admission to killer after parties on the night of their set!

The Center of the Universe Festival is a two-day, non-profit music and arts festival held in Tulsas Brady Arts District. The event, scheduled for July 25-26, 2014, is named after the popular downtown Tulsa landmark, the Center of the Universe, located on the Boston Avenue pedestrian bridge between Archer and First Street.

The Center of the Universe Festival will feature more 100 bands on three outdoor stages and ten club venues. The event also offers a street market for local and regional artists to display and sell their work.

All showcase sets are 60 minutes. Set times start from 5:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. All bands must load in before the festival grounds open at 4:00 p.m. Load out will be after the club venue closes at 2:00 a.m. Club Venue assignments and set times will be determined by the festival. We cannot guarantee your venue, date or set time. Sound systems and lights are provided by the festival.
