Summary

White Knight Music Group, Inc. (Publishing – BMI) and Pulse Records are seeking independent music for producers at NBC and CTV (Canada), two power house media giants and home of the official 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London, airing on July 27th. Televised on NBC in the United States and CTV in Canada, they are selecting high quality music for producers and content managers for their Olympic coverage music library and official broadcasts.



They are seeking professionally produced music in only North American territories. Selected artists will forwarded to and exposed to producers who cover over 28 mainstream Canadian stations, 33 Radio outlets and all affiliates here at NBC. Once accepted into the music library, producers from MTV, TSN, Discovery, Much Music E! and more will have access for future usage in the Canadian territory. All artists must be SOCAN or AVLA affiliated in Canadian Territories. US applicants music have PRO affiliation for NBC coverage.



Specifically, they are seeking high energy tracks to air on Television segments produced for the Olympics. We are accepting Alternative Rock, indie, Hard Rock, Pop, Hip-Hop, Country, dance and instrumentals.



It is important that submissions meet the following criteria. Submissions not meeting the below will not be considered:


  • Be well-produced, professional, and ready for inclusion in a wide release video game

  • Bands must have a high-quality vocal and instrumental matching tracks available if requested

  • Have a high-energy tracks appropriate for Olympic televised game day action

  • Artists must own all copyrights- please no samples or covers. They will not be selected.

  • Do not reach the promoter or music supervisor directly. Do no send unsolicited mp3's. Sonicbids is the only platform accepting music.


Every submission will be reviewed, and the promoter makes an effort to give a personal to reply to each. Even if not selected for this specific opportunity, bands submitted may be considered for other licensing opportunities in the future. There are a total of 6 slots available, and White Knight can guarantee that any tracks meeting their standards and delivered to the television producers and will be included in the game day library for download. Your PRO will collect royalties for usage, and you will be paid when aired.



Remember, only professional-sounding tracks ready for spotlight on National and International Television will be considered. Do not submit demos or anything not meeting the criteria laid out above.



Artists, once selected and forwarded will need to be able to provide WAV files and matching instrumentals.
