Woodstock in Beauce 2007 will be held on June 28 - July 1, 2007. Woodstock en Beauce Festival, one of the largest summer musical and camping events in Canada, is located in St-Ephrem de Beauce, a small community in the Quebec province near the U.S border. The festival accommodates over 15,000 RVs and tents to be set up for the weekend on four adjacent farmlands in a peaceful atmosphere. Each year, Woodstock en Beauce hosts 45 international acts who share two stages in front of 78,000 fans.
There is at least one slot reserved for a Sonicbids artist. Selected artists may be compensated for their performances but travel and lodging is not provided. All genres are accepted but rock is preferred.
Since 1995, the festival has welcomed artists such as Joe Cocker, Nickelback, Bad Religion, Shinedown, Violent Femmes, Joan Jett, Steppenwolf, Foreigner, Sam Roberts, Sum 41, Pennywise, Our Lady Peace, BTO, Three Doors Down, The Tea Party, Moist, CCR, Roger Hodgson, April Wine and more.
Event sponsors include Molson Dry, Pepsi and Tylenol. The vast majority of the festival crowd is French speaking.
