Global Rhythm Magazine Song Contest (November/December 2008 Edition)

Global Rhythm Magazine sponsors World Music Song Contest, taking place 8 times per year. Established in 1992, Global Rhythm Magazine’s monthly sampler CD, which accompanies each issue, was created to showcase World Music Legends and today’s new stars to our readership of 120,000 music enthusiasts, radio DJs and record label executives. Entries are now being accepted for the November/December 2008 issue/CD.

The winning songs will be featured on Global Rhythm Magazine’s sampler CD and the artists will receive an honorable mention along with their CD jacket/bio printed in a monthly two-page spread that profiles each of the artists who appear on Global Rhythm’s sampler CD.

The winning song for each contest receives the opportunity for their song to appear on 60,000 impressions of Global Rhythm’s sampler CD and a single copy for their archives. The contest is open to any World Music artist (genres including World Music, Jazz & Folk) who has created their own music CD. Please note you will need to send in a hard copy of your CD if you are selected.

Global Rhythm Magazine is in its 16th year interpreting the art of world music within the global culture arena through in-depth interviews, lifestyle columns on international film, cuisine and adventurous travel and extensive coverage of new CD/DVD releases. Global Rhythm is for the novice and world music collector—entertaining, educational and hip. The Global Rhythm magazine World Music Song contest gives talented, up and coming artists the opportunity to have their songs published on our monthly sampler CD and be featured as today’s new stars!
