Summary

Ground Lift Magazine is a weekly publication that specializes in providing feature stories, reviews, mixes, podcasts and interviews of up and coming musicians. The purpose of the magazine is to give underground and non-mainstream artists from around the world exposure that they might otherwise never have had the chance to have.

Ground Lift's reviews focus on genres including hip-hop, funk (new & older reissues, compilations), jazz, soul, and down tempo (nu-jazz, neo-soul, acid jazz, break-beat, instrumental hip-hop, etc).

Ground Lift Magazine is published weekly and receives over a million hits each month, as readers from around the world continue to be drawn. Ground Lift's main markets are the United States, Europe and Japan. The prototypical Ground Lift reader is male, between the ages of 18-35 yrs, and involved in some facet of the music industry. With a staff of roughly 10 industry established writers located throughout the country, Ground Lift is quickly gaining recognition as the place to go for your non-commercial, urban music fix.

Each month, the magazine features 2-3 interviews and 1-2 feature length stories, as well as exclusive columnists and pieces specifically designed for producers in any genre.
