Summary

The Independent Music Conference (IMC), presented by IndieGate.com and now in its second year, is the only event of its kind. The IMC focuses on what's really important at a music conference: education and
internetworking. This year's event will once again be held at the Sheraton Society Hill in Philadelphia, September 2-6, 2004. IMC will have more than 100 performance opportunities - and the final choices will be announced on August 7th, 2004. Don't miss this last chance to
apply.

Sponsors include IndieGate.com, Sonicbids, Disc Makers, Sennheiser, 94WYSP FM, Indie Bible, Tower Records, Songsalive!, Headblade, CT Songwriters Assoc., Focus Marketing and many more.

The IMC focuses on important topics for independent musicians, including: legal issues, digital rights, digital distro, hearing and voice protection, CD project planning, performance and rehearsal education, financial info, tax info, business planning, alternative revenue streams, marketing and promotion, sales techniques, technical
issues, gear education, booking advice, management info, publishing education, contract negotiations, copyright education, and so much more.

$30 of this fee is applicable towards your start-up with the InterMixx IndieGate, where you can sell your indie CDs and merchandise online. When you register for IMC2004, the fee will be deducted from your IMC registration payment, making your IndieGate start-up absolutely free. The additional $10 is a late fee for this last chance opportunity.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You must be an attendee of IMC2004 to be eligible to perform, meaning at least one artist must purchase a registration. Registrations are currently only $100!
