Gig Overview
The Indie Music Fund is a site setup to fund the promotion and release of independent music. Proceeds will be used to fund operations that promote and educate indie musicians as well as provide money for recording, distribution, promotion, marketing, tour support, artist merchandise and CD manufacturing. This fund will directly contribute to 5 artists/bands that are chosen by the staff of BandRadio.com, BandRadioLive.com and their parent company Aaronde Entertainment. Submissions are accepted exclusively through Sonicbids – so all slots are reserved for Sonicbids artists.
Each band or artist will sign a contract with Aaronde Entertainment outlining funding for recording, touring, promotion and other expenses. We will work with the acts to develop a marketing and promotional plan. We will work with the chosen artist and fund proceeds will not be awarded as a prize. This is an opportunity to create a career or at least get a boost.
All genres are welcome to submit. It is important that you have a fully filled out EPK and it is a real plus if you have video.
The fund will complete once the fifth band has been chosen. Bands are chosen as the fund reaches funding milestones through ad sales on the Indie Music Fund site.
Please note: You must be at least 18 years old to participate. You must not be signed to a indie or major record label.
