Songsalive! is a non-profit organization dedicated to the nurturing, support and promotion of songwriters and composers worldwide. Founded in 1997, Songsalive! is run by songwriters for songwriters. It acts as an epicenter; the heart of the international songwriting community and music markets, bridging the gaps, tapping songwriters into the pulse of the business and at the same time giving them and their music the support they deserve. Through Songsalive! songs and songwriters can be accessed by the whole world. When the hunt is on, Songsalive! is a one-stop song shop!

Songsalive! gives life to songs, provides opportunities for collaboration, creates awareness about original music, promotes and educates through an amazing network of programs, which provide access between songwriters and music business professionals in the form of workshops, showcases, CD Samplers, songcamps & retreats, live events and showcases, songwriter critique workshops, songleads & industry pitches, education seminars and Expos, artist development; studio production; informational resources and networking. Online, through our website, mailing lists, etc. Songsalive! is the source for great resources for songwriters and acts as a vehicle for discussion, promotion and retail for our members and their music.

Showcases are a very cozy, intimate and acoustic environment where media and music industry representatives often drop by to check out the latest talent. Showcase your music and support our Songsalive! national and international live events and showcases presenting songwriters and artists of original music. Showcases are conducted globally. Showcases are held in Australia in Sydney, Tamworth and Byron Bay; Canada in Calgary; and the U.S.A: two in Los Angeles (Santa Monica and Hollywood), Austin, TX; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Connecticut, Philadelphia, PA; Phoenix, AZ; Sacramento, CA; Nashville, TN; San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA; and New York, NY. Workshops:

Songsalive! also holds workshops where songwriters gather to share their songs, gain feedback and develop relationships within the songwriting communities we have created around the world. The first half is solely dedicated to an in-the-round workshop where writers present one song each - either on tape, CD or live - followed by a guest speaker/industry discussion in the second half and plenty of time to talk and network. Workshops are held in cities including: Chicago, IL; Boston, MA; Los Angeles, CA; San Francisco, CA; Sacramento, CA; Nashville TN; Byron Bay Australia and Sydney, Australia.
