Summary

WDST/Radio Woodstock is looking for an artist to open up the Third Annual Mountain Jam Festival June 1-3, 2007 in Hunter, New York - the heart of the Catskill Mountains!! Radio Woodstock and world-renowned guitarist Warren Haynes (Gov't Mule & The Allman Brothers Band) will, once again, co-produce this year's festival.

This year’s Mountain Jam is packed with 3 full days of music and a Join the Jam Competition in which bands will compete for a spot to open up the festival on Sunday, June 3rd. This year’s lineup features Gov’t Mule, Michael Franti and Spearhead, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, G. Love and Special Sauce, Umphrey's McGee, Ozomatli, the North Mississippi Allstars, and the New Orlean's Social Club, along with other great artists to be announced soon!

Mountain Jam features genres ranging from Folk to Funk, Rock to Reggae, and of course, Jam Bands! The natural amphitheatre provides great sight lines from any vantage point. The surrounding environment is family friendly and includes a 24-hour full service lodge. There's even a children's area with arts & crafts and other activities. All ages are welcome to this all-weather event. Join the Jam is sponsored by Babicz Guitars!

Selected artist will receive $500 and a Babicz Octane Guitar as compensation for their performance.

Last year’s performers featured Gov’t Mule, My Morning Jacket, Michael Franti and Spearhead, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Medeski, Martin and Wood, Keller Williams and many more! Over 6,000 people attended the festival.
