Ending the first half of the show was Phil Kennelty who wowed the crowed with high-energy bluesy version of Don't Think Twice, followed by an exquisitely slowed down version of "I Want You" from Blonde on Blonde which captured the full attention of the entire audience.....

Discography

Phil's full length CD, Thirteen Songs was released in November 2009. From that album "A Matter Of Pride" has received airplay on Catskill Radio's The Road show. "Loves Goes On" was also recorded by Greg Wilson on Take It Slow (Animal Tracks Records) was voted favorite song on the ITS website in October, 2000.
"Sing the Same Song" was covered by Cody Lyons on his America album in 2005.
Phil's own "Live At The Bitter End" EP includes "The Mayor of MacDougal Street", "Love Goes On", "Inside Your Latest Dream" and "Sing The Same Song"

Bio

Phil was born and raised on the outskirts of The City: New York City!! He has played coffee houses and bars throughout the metropolitan area both as a solo act and as a member of numerous Rock, Country and Americana bands. His songs and his interpretations of other artists material are constantly evolving as he changes rhythms and mood, incorporating African, Carribean, Reggae, Delta and Peidmont Blues, Cajun and Zydeco, Native American, Immigrated American and European folk Styles and pure 50's Rock'n'Roll. Phil's Phriends are a collection of Long Island musicians who share his eclectic and diverse tastes and his insistance of making the music phun!!!
