BIO:
Solid Gold is a D.I.Y. punk dub electro trash club rock collective from Minneapolis. They have their hands dirty with everything from recording and production of music to screen-printing their own shirts and clothes, graphic design, and stage lighting and projections.
Standing out against the monotonous tide of indie rock that has captured American audiences, Solid Gold has found success abroad, headlining a sold-out performance at the 2007 Iceland Airwaves Festival, as well as playing the Vice/WeSC summer party at Vice's Old Blue Last in London.
Fresh off the release of the "Who You Gonna Run To?" ep, the band played SXSW for the 3rd time.
Their epic full-length debut "Bodies Of Water" will be out in September. On this effort the band continues to explore unique instrumentation entering the realm where digital and analog meet as a focused sound of the future. They will be touring extensively throughout the US, Canada, EU, and Japan.
