The winning band will be listed as part of the official lineup and receive an opening slot on a stage at Lollapalooza 2008. As an official Lolla artist, the band will receive artist passes for the entire weekend with access to catering, the artist lounge, and everywhere else bands get to go!

The winning band will also receive two hotel rooms for three nights at the Hilton in downtown Chicago. Plus, we'll even give you tickets for your friends the day of your show.

To make it even better, the winning band will also get:

• $1,000 travel stipend
• Band promotion on the homepage of Lollapalooza and partner websites
• A year's supply of Glaceau products (SmartWater, VitaminWater, VitaminEnergy)
• An on-air interview with Q101, an in-store performance at FYE, Asics Gear, Lolla goodies and more.
• Exclusive coverage of your band on the AT&T blue room alongside some of your favorite Lolla artists.

There's no crummy consolation prize here, as the second-place band will still receive a slot on the official lineup! The runner-up will recieve a slot on a Lolla side stage along with artist passes and catering/lounge/access perks mentioned above. The runner-up will also receive tickets for your friends the day of your show along with:

• $1,000 travel stipend
• Band promotion on the homepage of Lollapalooza and partner websites
• A years supply of Glaceau products (SmartWater, VitaminWater, VitaminEnergy)
• Lolla goodies and more.

And the other three bands that made the finale event won’t be wasting a trip to Chicago. Even if you don’t make it on the lineup, all three other bands will receive weekend tickets to the Festival, a $1,000 travel stipend, a years supply of Glaceau products, along with various other Lolla goodies.
