Lyon College is now booking for their Fall Semester (August through December, 2007)

Lyon College is a small, liberal arts college with around 500 students located in Batesville, Arkansas. Lyon students enjoy a range of music but typically prefer bands with more mainstream appeal. The Student Activities Council is responsible for booking events, and they typically look for one or two music events each semester, as well as comedy and variety events throughout both semesters.

Typical attendance for shows ranges between 25 and 150 students and faculty. Shows are held at several different venues on campus, with most performances happening in the Student Union (capacity 100). Lyon is looking to book local, regional and national bands in a variety of genres, including mainstream Rock or Country bands, but also Alternative, Indie, Acoustic, Non Music, Comedy and Hip Hop artists as well. All bands will be compensated for their performance, with details to be negotiated at the time of booking.

Depending on the interest of the student council, the Student Activities Council may book one or several of their acts for the semester through Sonicbids if they can find bands that are able to meet their budget and the tastes of Lyon students.
